Long ago, a brother spirited his sister away from persecution….
It was not his cross who was wrong or right…
Or even who had power, and who did not…. or who ruled the kingdom, and who were the subjects…
He merely focussed on the man who spoke words that he felt from his heart… and he found his own heart responding.
All he recalled was his friend urging everybody to love all… even those who harmed you… for they knew not what they did..
All he knew was life was ever-present….
Today also marks the anniversary of hope.
Today, on the full moon, we also have with us the power of a being who focussed all of himself on his righteousness.
Such reminders do not need names. Everywhere, we are familiar with love, hope and righteousness.
