Before I sat down to write about my act of self-love today, I read what Kim had to share… http://www.museinthevalley.com/2013/06/22/inspired-by-beauty-day-15/
And I was amazed! I felt I was looking into a mirror angled at me from far away… Was she talking about me, thinly veiled as herself?
Then it struck me. Most of us have similar experiences. Yet we hold our feelings so close to ourselves that we do not notice our shared-ness. We feel alone. We exile ourselves to suffering in silence.
Only, it is not even remotely so. As my Council of Elders repeatedly tells me, we, children of Earth, belong together. Distances are an experience, just as jostling elbows are. Separation is a story, just as union is. In truth, we are all breathing the rhythm of life, on Earth.

Today, I continue with my developing awareness of existential joy, in my everyday activities. I do them for me. I bubble over in joy. And the wings of butterflies ensure that this joy is shaken and dripped all over another face of me, in another corner of this blanket in which Mother Earth holds all of us.
And I have chanted, again… a dearly beloved name to the beat of my dear, loving heart!
